Overview

I wanted a portfolio that felt like a printed page rather than a dashboard: warm paper tones, confident typography, and plenty of empty space. The site is designed to load instantly, read well on any device, and leave the work in focus.

The project became a playground for small details: a slowly scrolling tech stack, editorial project rows, and a single accent color used sparingly. Everything else is intentionally quiet.

Key decisions

  1. 01

Built with Next.js App Router and Tailwind CSS for speed and maintainability.

  2. 02

Chose a warm off-white palette and Sora + Manrope typography to keep the tone human and editorial.

  3. 03

Kept motion minimal — just a marquee and subtle hover states — so performance stays high.

Outcome

Shipped a fully responsive, accessible portfolio with a Lighthouse performance score in the high 90s.

Created a reusable foundation I can extend with new projects and case studies over time.
